Social Media Usage Policy
The authority to open and manage social media pages belongs to the Personnel and Administrative Affairs Manager. Any accounts or pages opened outside this authority are not associated with our company. If such accounts are identified, ACISELSAN A.Ş. reserves the right to take legal action. These pages may include photos and videos taken during company activities (general factory operations, production activities, fairs, social events, etc.). Additionally, celebratory or commemorative messages for national and religious holidays may be shared.
All required parameters and privacy settings on social media pages are configured by the Personnel and Administrative Affairs Manager.
Images of our employees appearing in photos or videos may only be published with their explicit consent. Images of our customers, suppliers, or visitors are not to be used without their prior permission. Employees’ names are not to be tagged, and no personal data is to be shared without explicit authorization.
Furthermore, the following rules outline the expected conduct of our employees when using social media:
- If opinions about ACISELSAN A.Ş. or the sector are shared on social networks, it must be stated that these are personal views.
- The reputation of the company, investors, colleagues, and the individual must be protected. Comments that could damage reputations should be strictly avoided.
- No defamatory or damaging comments are to be made about customers, competitors, suppliers, unions, public or private organizations.
- No information related to ACISELSAN A.Ş. employees, customers, suppliers, or other stakeholders is to be shared.
- Photos of others should not be posted or tagged without obtaining prior consent.
- No discriminatory, harassing, racist, religious, sexual, offensive, or disturbing comments should be made.
- No advertisements for commercial products or political propaganda are permitted on company social media pages.
- Individuals, offices, meeting details, work content, or locations within the company are not to be tagged or shared on social media. For example, posts like “At XXX Hotel, with X, Y, and Z for XXX training” should be avoided, as they may pose risks in terms of confidentiality, security, or competition.
- No photos should be taken or shared on any platform that display other people, products, or equipment within work areas.
- If there is any uncertainty about a post, the Personnel and Administrative Affairs Manager must be consulted.
- Great care should be taken when uploading any content (text, image, video, etc.) to social media platforms. Brand or copyright violations may occur unintentionally.
- Employees are personally responsible for the content they publish and share on social media.
- To avoid misinterpretations of written messages, proper grammar and spelling rules must be observed.
- Unauthorized individuals must never present themselves as official company spokespersons.
- In response to negative posts about the company, employees should refrain from posting further negative messages and instead respond with calm and courtesy.
- It must be understood that content shared on the internet may not be completely deleted, even if removed or deleted later.
Employees may consult the Personnel and Administrative Affairs Manager for guidance on configuring privacy settings for their personal social media accounts.
